Meet Josh

Josh Rutherford

A self-proclaimed addict of the restaurant industry, Josh got his first restaurant job at seventeen and hasn't looked back since. He has risen in the ranks from dishwasher to becoming a 25-year-old overseeing a 6 million dollar operation. Eventually Josh, along with Derek, Doug and Michael set out on their own and founded 4 Star Restaurant Group in Chicago.

Growing up on a farm in Indiana, Josh developed an extensive knowledge of the fruits of his land, because of this Josh took a leading role in the very successful acquisition and renovation of Wicker Park barbecue gem Smoke Daddy. When Josh isn't bouncing around Chicago checking in on his nine restaurants he is most likely spending time with his wife and son (Liz and Konrad) at their home in Lakeview or traveling.
